A first success for the Hackathons by ACROBA !

The University of DEUSTO (Bilbao, Spain) took the first crack at organising ahackathon by ACROBA on 15 december 2022. Twenty-four students took on the challenge to develop new robotics skills using the ACROBA platform.


Splited in six teams and mentored by robotics experts, the engineering students had a few days to bring their ideas to life using state-of-the-art robotics technology. The projects presented covered a wide range of skills fromhandwriting simulation, tic-tac-toe playing, or multiple block manipulation.

A professional judging panel composed of industry and technology experts from DEUSTO and Vicomtech were in charge of selecting the three most outstandingprojects. The winning team is the one that created the handwriting skill andwas awarded 4 kits of NVIDIA-based-ROS-powered Jetson robots : a nice tool for students to keep developing their creativity and technical skills !
